Our journey started in 2020 when we bought our first campervan Bobby with the intention to rent it out when we didn’t use the campervan ourselves. As New Zealand opened its arms to tourism again after a very quiet few Covid years, the demand for our campervans soared, prompting us to steadily expand our fleet and transform our passion project into a professional endeavor and Camper4Hire was born.
In the early days, our campervans found their way to adventurers through Camplify. However, as we grew, we recognized the opportunity to offer a more direct and cost-effective solution for both us and our guests. In 2023, we made the leap to become independent rental operators, allowing you to book your dream campervan trip directly through us, thus avoiding unnecessary commissions and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Recently our fleet has expanded beyond our five 6 berth campervans to include two new additions – meet Billy, a 3-4 berth campervan perfect for smaller groups, and Sunny, a cozy 2-berth campervan ideal for those seeking a more intimate journey. We understand that every traveler has unique preferences, and our diverse range of campervans reflects our commitment to catering to all tastes and needs.
